Sakura Central Law Office is an administrative scrivener (gyoseishoshi) office at Office Port Uchihonmachi 4F, 2-4-16 Uchihonmachi, Chuo Ward, Osaka. Our representative, Kaoru Miyatake, is an administrative scrivener and a Ministry of Justice certified immigration representative, and handles applications to the Immigration Services Agency's regional bureaus.

Procedures We Handle

  • Certificate of Eligibility application: filed before entry, for example when bringing a foreign national to Japan (filing through an immigration representative).
  • Application for permission to change status of residence: for changing from the current status to another status that matches the intended activity.
  • Application for extension of period of stay: for continuing to stay in Japan under the same status after the current period ends.
  • Permanent residence application: an application to change to the status of permanent resident.
  • Naturalization application support: support with procedures for acquiring Japanese nationality.

What Is an Immigration Representative Gyoseishoshi?

An immigration representative gyoseishoshi is an administrative scrivener who can submit application documents to the immigration authorities on behalf of the applicant. Approval or denial is decided by the immigration authorities' review, and we do not guarantee approval.

Helpful Items to Prepare Before a Consultation

  • Documents showing the purpose of the application (employment contract, certificate of enrollment, etc.)
